The Coven Season 1/ episode 15

#15 Warts and All

starring James Lafferty, Autumn Reeser, Chris Lowell, Kristin Kreuk, Vincent Kartheiser

Guest Starring: T.R.Knight as Gavin

Teaser:

Alexis is sitting at her desk at the bed and breakfast going over a book on Restoration Spells for Adam who still is powerless. She gets a call from a room and leaves her desk to go and collect some money. a cleaner then moves up to the desk and begins dusting and polishing. the cleaner looks down and she spots the book and begins to look quite puzzled.

Credits Roll.....

Act 1:

Alexis come downstairs and snatches the book up and smiles at the cleaner. she takes the book with her and leaves the office to return home. the Cleaner then goes into her desk and finds an array of mysterious Potion ingredients and some loose paper with spells written on them. The cleaner then puts it all in a box and leaves it at the front door.

Act 2:

Alexis arrives in the office the next morning to when the cleaner rushes in after her and calls her a witch. Alexis tries to laugh at the suggestion when some other employees including Spencer arrive in the room. she tells them that the cleaner is crazy but the cleaner pulls out the box of things she collected last night. the group begin to question Alexis when she grabs Spencer and the Box and runs outside. She tells him to help her barricade the door and she pulls out a memory spell and she begins reading it aloud. Meanwhile Gavin Jolts out of seat in his Hotel room appearing to sense the spell he quickly begins chanting something out of a book and as the both finish the are both throw back into the air.

Act 3:
Alexis and Spencer remove the Barricade and re-enter the building. Alexis asks the cleaner if she thinks that anybodies a witch and the cleaner tells her that there's no such thing as witches. she then tells Alexis that something is on her nose and she puts her hand their and feels something growing. she runs to the bathroom and when she looks in the mirror she sees a giant wart on the end of her nose. she then grabs a scarf out of her bag and places it over her nose and leaves the building. as she goes through the door she sees a black cat and as she walks to her car several more arrive. more and more cats begins to follow her and she tries to shoo them away. She drives off along the road and the cats chase after her car.

Act 4:

Alexis arrives home and slams the door behind her. all the cats begin to meow and the others begin to wonder whats happening. she tells them and the begin to think that her memory spell backfired. they group try to undo the spell but they fail. she then has a vision of a film crew being attacked by a demon. she tells the others to stay and she grabs a broom and flies off.

Act 5:

Alexis arrives at the filming location and hits the demon with her broom. She then uses her psychic wave and and the demon falls to the ground and she then picks up a stunt sword and drives it through the demon's chest. the film crew look stunned and she knocks out the camera man and destroys the tape.

Act 6:

Alexis learns that she must stay inside along with Adam due to their conditions. Spencer, Aaisha and Jace must face the fact that only 3 of them can fight now.

THE END......

The Coven Season 1/ Episode 14

#14 Infect

starring James Lafferty, Autumn Reeser, Chris Lowell, Kristin Kreuk, Vincent Kartheiser

Guest Starring: T.R. Knight as Gavin

Teaser:

a man is sitting behind his desk at a high class hotel when a a customer walks in. The customer says that his name is Gavin Farrow and that he would like a room. The man at the desk finds a room and asks Gavin for the money. Gavin looks at the man and tells him that he's paid and the man becomes slightly confused and agrees. Gavin than walks to the elevator and he smiles as the doors close.

Credits Roll....

Act 1:

Gavin is sitting on his bed cross-legged with a variety of herbs on the sheets. He then begins to say a spell and the herbs begins to burn and smolder. The spell then finishes and a cloud of green smoke disappears out the window.

Act 2:

Adam is standing outside watering the garden when the cloud of smoke hits him. He doesn't seem to notice and continues to go and put the hose away. He then walks to the door and begins to start coughing. The coughing become louder and more frequent and he moves his hand to see a mixture of a green substance and red blood he then falls onto the ground and yells out for help.

Act 3:
the group pull Adam inside and they rush to the books. They quickly remember a curing potion the used on Jace when Erida stole his powers and the quickly make one up. Adam continues to cough stuff up and the force the potion down his throat which stops him from coughing. They then lift him into bed and begin to wonder what could have done that to him.

Act 4:

Adam attempts to use his powers and discovers that he can't. The others attempt to restore them but a stronger force. The group then go out to a planned Cardinal attack and they leave Adam at Home. Once the others are out of Site Gavins walks up to the house and pulls out a glowing orb. He then silently throws the orb through the window.

Act 5:

Adam goes downstairs to see the orb lying on the floor. He walks over and picks it up when he hears glass smash. He turns to see a handful of pixies fly through the window. The fly past him and hit him. as he begins to try and knock them away more and more accumulate. He tries to fight them but the scratch at him and he lowers to the ground to try and make cover. The others arrive home and attack the pixies and aaisha steps on the orb and breaks it. The pixies then fly away and Adam is saved.

Act 6:
the group research and learn that the orb attracts Pixies and because Adam had it in his possession they attacked him. Gavin is back at his apartment and look pleased about his attack on Adam.

THE END.....

Casting - Gavin

the next character to be cast is Gavin, A dark wizard. for the rest of season 1 Gavin will be playing the Villian. the actor I casted was T.R. Knight who currently plays George O'Malley on Grey's Anatomy. Gavin's sister appears later in this season so I chose him because he looks similar to the actress I cast in the sister role.

The Coven Season 1 / Episode 13

#13 Seen

Starring James Lafferty, Autumn Reeser, Chris Lowell, Kristin Kreuk, Vincent Kartheiser

Teaser:

Alexis and Spencer are sitting at her desk at the bed and breakfast looking at a computer. They discuss the new logo that Alexis designed and Spencer tells her that it is too cutesy. Alexis then get up to go to the printer and we see Alexis's vision of her self being used in some sort ritual. She then seems to go weak and collapses onto the ground. Spencer then runs to her side and attempts to wake her up but she doesn't respond.

Credits Roll....

Act 1:

the group are sitting around Alexis's bed in hospital when the doctor walks in. He tells them that she appears to be in some type of coma but he doesn't see how it could have happened as she has no internal or external injuries. Adam remains at her bedside while the others return home.

Act 2:

the others begin to look into magical comas and illnesses when they find an article about Magic Channeling. They discover that some Soothsayers and possessors of second sight have often channeled too much magic, often unintentionally, and have fallen into Comas due to the overload. They learn that all they have to do is channel small amounts of good magic back into Alexis and she will wake. Meanwhile back at the hospital Adam steps out to go and get some coffee and when he returns he see that Alexis is gone.

Act 3:

Adam rushes around the hospital but he fails to find Alexis. He then returns to her room where he finds the others who explain to him what happened and what they need to do. He tells them that she is gone and they perform a tracing spell in her room and follow a light out side where it goes into the woods and blows up, indicating that a dark power is in their.

Act 4:

A women is standing in a clearing talking to Alexis who is is tied up to a pole and still in her Coma. She tells Alexis that she will channel Dark magic through her to resurrect her fallen Sisterhood of the sightless eye. She then reveals that this will kill Alexis as she is already weak from her vision of this event. She picks up a bowl and rubs some blood on Alexis's face. The priestess then begins chanting which slowly wake Alexis up who is in Panic about her situation.

Act 5:

Alexis begins to scream and the group rush in to the clearing to try and save her. The priestess places her hand towards the group and they begin to hear a loud ringing in their ears stopping them in their tracks. Adam slowly stands up against the noise and picks up a nearby knife. He then throws the knife which manages manages distract the women. Jace and Aaisha then sneak up and untie Alexis pulling her down from the pole. Alexis begins to make gagging noise and vomits up a surge of dark magic which hits and kills the priestess. Adam come over and helps her up and the group walk out of the forest.

Act 6:

the group arrive back home and Spencer asks her what happened before she fell into the coma. She ten tells him that she had a vision of herself in a coma being used a a item to channel dark magic through. The group are surprised and the sit down and eat their dinner.

The Coven Season 1/ Episode 12

# 12 vengeance

starring James Lafferty, Autumn Reeser, Chris Lowell, Kristin Kreuk, Vincent Kartheiser

Guest Starring: Tessa Thompson as Erida

Teaser:

the group are training their powers in an alley. Adam tells the others that he can feel his powers getting stronger and they agree with him. Alexis then has a vision of some Cardinal Demons raiding a Local Diner. They then leave the alley to gather their weapons from home.

Credits Roll......

Act 1:

the group arrive home and quickly pack their weapons. Jace is surprised to see Erida standing in their living room as the others get ready to go Erida asks Jace for some type of Payment for her help in defeating Aphrodite. Jace refuses saying that he didn't make any deals and he the group leave to fight the Cardinal Demons. Erida then says a small incantation and as she places her palm out she generates two fireballs.

Act 2:

the group arrive just as the Cardinal Demons do. The cardinal demons enter and begin tearing up the diner as all the customers begin rushing away. The gange rush in and Aaisha counts a total of five demons. The first two rush and Alexis and Adam manage to clotheline one and they damage it's power core and it fades away. Another two attack Aaisha and she manages to shock one but takes a punch to the face. spencer pulls one of her and they smash the two together breaking their power cores. The last one attacks Jace who attempts to throw a fireball but it doesn't work. They other one then pushes the others out of the way and attacks Jace. They begin to furiously attack him but Aaisha picks up a club and smashes one of their power cores and Adam smashes the other. Jace turns to the gang and tells them that he has lost his powers.

Act 3:

the gang have returned home and the girls are brewing potions for Jace while the boys are trying to write spells. The each gives use them on Jace who tries again but they work with bo success. Jace then begins to suspect that Erida did this and they perform a Hooking spell, temporarily trapping her in the earth Dimension. Erida is about to leave when she realizes that she can't go anywhere and begins to wear down the spell.

Act 4:

The group minus Jace locate erida and ask her to give Jace his powers back she refuses and they tell her that they will fight her. Erida laughs at them saying that they couldn't beat a Goddess. They begin to move in and one by one she knocks them out with smacks across the face. She then leaves and heads away leaving the gang unconscious on the ground. Jace is sitting in the loungeroom trying to find spells when Erida come bursting through the door and slams him up against the wall.

Act 5:

Erida tells Jace that she is pissed off that he sent her friends after her. She then begins to throw him around like a ragdoll. Meanwhile the other wake and Adam remembers a power transfer spell they begin to rush home whilst peforming the incantation at the same time. When they arrive they find a Jace brutally beaten and Erida is continuing to attack him. The others finish the spell and a flashing beam of red light connects Erida and Jace. Jace revives his powers while Erida is weakened buy the transfer jace places two fireball direct into her chest and she is blown back. Erida then disappears back to the Valley of the Gods.

Act 6:

with Jaces powers back the group perform a banishment spell to prevent Erida from returning to their dimesion.

The Coven Season 1/ Episode 11

#11 Ash & Dust

starring James Lafferty, Autumn Reeser, Chris Lowell, Kristin Kreuk, Vincent Kartheiser

Teaser:

the group are standing around a grave Xavier's grave Monument in a secluded spot in the cementary. Alexis is crying and holding on to Adam while the other are standing around the grave alone. They each place a flower on the grave and they slowly walk out.

Act 1:

the group have returned home and are sitting tiredly on the coach. The others seem to be at rest but Alexis is Talking and Suggesting things they can do around the house. Adam tells her to relax and she tells him that she can't and leaves the room. Alexis is then taking the vacuum out of the closet. She plugs the vacuum in and while doing the hallway she begins to breakdown in tears once more.

Act 2:

Adam walks in to find Alexis Sitting on the floor he picks her up and goes to take her to bed when she tells him that they should try to contact Xavier. Adam says that it is a bad idea but she pushes past him and goes to get some spell books. She begins to read furiously and the other worry about her. She then finds a spell to contact the spirit realm and she makes the others come and help her with it.

Act 3:

Alexis sets a crystal on the floor and the others form a semi circle behind her. She begins to read out the passage as the electricity cuts in and out. She then throws a substance on the floor and a small wind picks up she then finishes the spell and unseen to the others her eyes flash grey. They tell her it didn't work and she agrees and puts the crystal away with a definate change in her behavior.

Act 4:

Alexis returns upstairs to and begins to flash in and out of her body. She realizes that a Spirit came into her during the ritual and she tells it to get out. The Spirit tells her that she is weakening and soon the body will belong to him. Alexis manages to smash her mirror before the Spirit manages to take full control. Adam enters after hearing the noise and recognizes that something is wrong. He goes and tells the others who don't believe him saying that Alexis is just grieving. He then pulls out the crystal again to see that a spirit has actually been channeled through it as its core has faded in colour.

Act 5:

Adam takes out some ingredients and begins to perform a banishment Spell. Upstairs the Spirit is packing up Alexis's things and realizes what he is doing. Alexis goes downstairs and attempts to attack Adam but Jace, Spencer and Aaisha grab her. She easily throws them off into the wall knocking them out. She picks up a sword and just as she is about to slice through Adam the spirit is gone and Alexis take control over her body once more.

Act 6:

Alexis and Adam are in their room packing Alexis's things away she thanks Adam for realizing that her body was taken. She tells him that she has come to terms with Xaviers Death and she tells him that they just have to fight demons without him.

The Coven Season 1 / episode 10

#10 Hidden

starring James Lafferty, Autumn Reeser, Chris Lowell, Kristin Kreuk, Vincent Kartheiser and Ralph Fiennes as Xavier

Guest Star: Anthony Stewart Head as Frederick

Teaser:

Alexis, Jace and Aaisha are sitting on the coach discussing Xavier's past. Alexis decides to go and him about his past but as she stands up she has a vision of a girl being attacked by a creature and she falls to ground.

Act 1:

Alexis and the rest of the group assemble and she describes the demon to them. Xavier quickly identifies it as a Gryphon and the group head to the location in Alexis's vision. They arrive in an alley and find the body of the girl. a group of gryphons then surround them and they cry out Xan - Karees. The Gryphons then fly away and the group stand speechless in the Alley.

Act 2:

the group arrive back home and they begin research on the gryphons. Jace then finds information on the Xan - Karees amulet which has the power to absorb all magics. Xavier tells the group he has it and he goes to his room and picks up the phone attempting to call someone, but the line is engaged. He then opens a chest under the bed pulling out the amulet and returns down stairs. He then tells the others that he will leave and take the amulet to safety. Xavier then gets in his car and droves off out down the street.

Act 3:

Spencer and Aaisha walk down the street to collect shopping when Two Gryphons fly up and grab them by the shoulders. They try to struggle the gryphons knock them out flying away with them. Jace, Alexis and Adam notice that they're missing and they walk down to find food their food bags scattered on the ground. Alexis calls Xavier and tells him that their missing and he decides that he has to come back.

Act 4:

Xavier arrives back and tells the group that an Evil Warlock named Frederick is using the knowledge of the amulet to lure the coven out. They then go outside and spot a Gryphon and decide to follow it. They see ti fly up into the hills where they discover a cave and they enter it. They see Spencer and Aaisha tied up on the floor but when they enter they are each thrown against the wall. Frederick the walks up to Xavier and pull the amulet out of his coat.

Act 5:

the coven asks Frederick what he knows and he tells them it is simply a test. He then Explains that Xavier was set for ascension to a higher plan but he started to horde magic. Xavier then came to Frederick and began to work for him performing tasks to align the Blessed Coven into place in Baker Valley. The Group are shocked at Xavier but Frederick continues on to say that He was going to influence them further and take their magic and give it to Frederick. Frederick the tells them that Xavier failed as he wouldn't steal their Magics as he had grown to care about the group. Jace attempts to throw a fireball at Frederick but the amulet absorbs it. Frederick throws the Amulet in with the Gryphons and leaves the group trapped with them. They begin to fight the gryphons but the amulet continues to absorb most of their attacks. They continue but the amulet begins to glow and Xavier explains that the amulet has taken to much power and is going to explode. He tells the other to escape and they run out at his command. Xavier moves over to the amulet cupping it in his hands. The amulet then releases the power destroying the cave and Killing Xavier along with the gryphons.

Act 6:

the group sadly return home after witnessing the explosion the enter the house and they sit in the kitchen and talk about Xavier's sacrifice for the group. They then decide that they have to keep fighting evil.

THE END.....

Casting - Frederick

The mysterious Voice in the first episode was actually a re-occurring character named Frederick. Frederick is a Warlock with strong magical abilities. The actor that came straight to my Head was Anthony Stewart Head ( pun not intended). Anthony is best known for his role of Giles in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, a show which is a great influence to me....

Back from Hiatus..... The Coven season 1/ episode 9

#9 Sinking

starring James Lafferty, Autumn Reeser, Chris Lowell, Kristin Kreuk, Vincent Kartheiser and Ralph Fiennes as Xavier.

Teaser:

A group of aristocrats are sitting inside the Baker Valley Boat Club having drinks. as they talk boats are coming and going behind them. The water suddenly turns darker under one of the boats and the boat is pulled under the water by a massive force. The aristocrats run to the water edge to see the remains of the boat floating to the surface.

Credits Roll......

Act 1:

the group are sitting in the loungeroom watching Adam and Alexis together after the recent love spell that Aphrodite put on them. Aaisha enters from the kitchen followed by a trail of black smoke indicating that she was doing spells. She tells the group that nothing she does has broken the love spell. Spencer turns to the television to see footage of the Boat sinking and Xavier decides that they should check it out.

Act 2:

the group arrive at the boatclub and talk to the groundskeeper about the boat. He tells them that it wasn't the first one to go missing. He describes to them the demon and Xavier decides that it must be a Hydra. He tells the others that it can only be killed if its taken out of water. The group return home to get things ready.

Act 3:
Xavier pulls out a spell book about water breathing and prepares the ingredients for the spell as the others change into other clothes. They leave once more and arrive at the boatclub. The 5 jump in the water and proceed to swim down when something goes wrong with Jace. He begins to yell and scream until he then falls unconscious. as he floats underwater the hydra begins to move towards then. Alexis attempts to pull Jace out of its way but it knocks them across the water. Leaving Alexis with a bad cut across her leg. Spencer grabs Jace and pulls him up while Adam blasts the Hydra unsuccessfully. Jace and Spencer get out of the water followed closely by Alexis, Aaisha and Adam. Jace then begins to turn pale as he wakes up feeling extremely cold.

Act 4:

Back home Xavier tells the group that the depth has put out Jace's inner Flame. They ask how to save him and Xavier tells them that they have to defeat the hydra to restore Jace. The others tell them that they can't handle the hydra and Xavier says that because of his affinity with water Spencer should be able to lure it to the surface. Spencer, Adam, Alexis and Aaisha return to the boat club to vanquish the Hydra,

Act 5:

Spencer gets into the water and begins to swim down leaving the others on the surface. He passes the remains of other boats and he turns to see a cave. Spencer then swims up to it when a massive set of teeth come flying out of it. The hydra fully comes out of the cave and swims full speed at spencer. He manages to kick it in the face which angers it. Spencer begins to panic as the water breathing spell begins to ware off. He flails his way up to the surface to gasp fro breath when the hydra come right behind him. Spencer then swims to the side of the water and pulls himself out . The hydra comes close enough that Aaisha place a hand on its watery skin badly electrocuting it. The hydra the fried dies and sinks down to the bottom of the sea.

Act 6:
The group return home to find Jace back on his feet. They then relax and rest as the Hydra has been vanquished.
