Teaser:

Spencer begins to resuscitate Aaisha while Jace does the same for Alexis. As they continue doing CPR Xavier stands back saying that they can't die yet. Spencer and Jace manage to resusciatate them and they take up to their rooms.

Act 1:

Spencer tries to contact Adam but doesn't succeed after Adam stormed out after their love spell mishap. Jace then makes the connection with the cherubs and Aphrodite and the three head off to summon her about what happened to Alexis and Aaisha.

Act 2:

Spencer and Jace summon Aphrodite who arrives to them again angrily. Jace asks her what happened and she tells them that Adam wanted a love aura to restore his natural emotion of love. She then tells them that the cherubs removed Aaisha and Alexis's life force as they removed his love and the spell needed to take from them. Jace tells Aphrodite to remove the love potion and fix the girls but she claims that only if they could defeat her would that happen. Jace then flings a fireball at Aphrodite who calmly blocks it blasting the three straight away and disappears.

Act 3:
Spencer, Jace and Xavier return home to find the two girls in an even worse condition. Jace says that as a Goddess she has to be stronger than them which makes Spencer run into another room pulling out a book and returning. He says that he read about a Goddess named Erida who is the goddess of Hate. They decide that she must be equal with Aphrodite and they decide to summon her. They perform an incantation and Erida arrives in their lounge room.

Act 4:

Erida Asks the group what they want and they explain about what Aphrodite did. Erida reveals that she has a massive dislike opf Aphrodite and summons Adam to them to lure her out. She then begins performing a spell on the unhelpful Adam when Aphrodite arrives. Erida then blasts Aphrodite who creates a shield to block her.

Act 5:

Erida and Aphrodite continue fighting but their power seem evenly matched. Jace and Spencer then shoot Fire and Water at Aphrodite who breaks her shield and Erida make the final attack. Aphrodite reveals that her power in the human realm is gone and just us she is about to be pulled through to the Valley of the Gods she perform s another spell on Adam. Erida continues through to the Valley after her leaving the group normal once more.

Act 6:

Alexis and Aaisha come done the stairs after their life force had been restored. Alexis runs up to Adam and kisses him. The Others realize that this must be Aphrodite's final spell and they decide to let it go.

Casting - Erida

the next re-occuring character in the Series is Erida, the Goddess of Hate. the person I cast in the role was Tessa Thompson who played Jackie on Veronica Mars.

#7 Girls

starring James Lafferty, Autumn Reeser, Chris Lowell, Kristin Kreuk, Vincent Kartheiser and Ralph Fiennes as Xavier.

Teaser:

the group sit down to spaghetti that Spencer has made and discuss recent changes. Adam tells the group that he feels different since that love spell and as he eats it becomes evident to the others that he has totally lost his emotion of Love.

Act 1:
Adam leaves the house to go out and Aaisha and Alexis explain to the others that reverses the love spell (#3 Passion) somehow made him void of love. Adam arrives at a club and meets a girl named Tarni and they begin to dance together.

Act 2:

Adam and Tarni continue talking and Adam himself realizes that he can't feel any love and leaves Tarni alone in the Bar. Adam goes home and confronts the group about his situation. Alexis and Aaisha tell him they can try a spell but he refuses their help saying they already did enough damage. He then goes to his room pulling out a book. He then leaves the house again and the girls begin to worry about his condition.

Act 3:

Adam makes a spell and creates a portal where two cherub like creatures fly through. The first one slashes him cross the face and he blasts it with energy. The other one attacks from behind buzzing around his head like flies he then whacks one away with a stick as the other one dives at his feet. Aphrodite the goddess of love then walks through the portal and the cherubs stop their attack. Aphrodite asks Adam what he wants and he tells her about his problem. She agrees to help him fall in love.

Act 4:

Aphrodite prepares a cauldron which begins brewing a love aura. She asks Adam how it happened and he explains the previous love. She then sends her cherubs out to collect the final ingredients. The cherubs arrive at the gangs house and fly towards Alexis and Aaisha. They then stop and mystically extract two red balls of energy from them. They then fly away and the two girls are worried about what just happened.

Act 5:

the cherubs return adding their balls of energy to the cauldron. The solution then begins to rise up out of the cauldron and hits Adam in a puff of light. Aphrodite tells him that the love aura is finished. Adam then leaves and goes back to the club finding Tarni their he kisses her and they leave their together.

Act 6:

Alexis and Aaisha tell the others about the cherubs and they go to get some books when the two collapse on the ground. Spencer rushes to check them but discovers them with no pulse....

the next episode coming up introduces a new re-occurring character, Aphrodite the goddess of Love. The person who came to my head first was somebody who had already played a god, Clare Kramer. She is best known for her portrayal of Glory in Buffy. Here's a pic...

The Coven Season 1/ Episode 6

#6 Ascend

Starring James Lafferty, Autumn Reeser, Chris Lowell, Kristin Kreuk, Vincent Kartheiser and Ralph Fiennes as Xavier.

Teaser:

a group of Bagona demons are sitting in a dense forest listening to their Leader tell of how they will muster power to fly. As the leader places some sacrificial blood in a vial he rubs it on a dragon statue and the group of demons begin to chant. A cross bow arrow flies into the head of one of the Bagona demons killing it. Xavier and the gang run in and a fight breaks out. Alexis kicks one of the demons in the chest knocking it back. Spencer then stabs it in the chest with a knife and it dies. Jace Fireballs of of the demons who proceeds to rush him taking him down to the ground. Aaisha then runs up shocking it in the back for a extended period of time killing it. Xavier takes some out with a sword and Adam heads to the leader. The Bagona leader whacks him across the chest with his staff while Adam blasts his feet out from under him. The Leader gets up throwing some punches into to Adam who pulls a Knife from his back pocket lodging it in the demons chest killing it. As the leader fall to the ground an opaque version of the leader is in its place. The ghost version walks into Adam and disappears inside him.

Act 1:

the group arrive back home and Alexis tells the others that she doesn't killing the demons will resolve her vision she had about the Bagonas. Xavier gets some books out and they begin researching. a few hours later Xavier tells everyone to stop researching as he feels they won't find anything more about the Bagonas

Act 2:

Adam is in his room writing out notes on his notepad. Some of the words sketched down are sky, air, earth and flight. He then pulls off another page starting again writing out a spell:

air and earth,

sky and bound.

may these words break the bond,

and take flight from the ground.

Adam then takes the spell and leaves and heads out to the garden to perform it. After reciting it the ground shakes And the others run outside to find Adam fainted on the ground.

Act 3:

back inside Adam is laying down and when he wake Xavier begins to question him about the spell. Xavier tells the others that Adam creating an Anti-gravity power and that if he finds it the earth and sky will meld together killing most in the process. He then says that the Bagonas dream was to able to fly. Adam then attacks the group running out of the house. He then continues to go and search for the anti-gravity power.

Act 4:

Xavier worries that Adam will find the power and sends the others out to find it. He then determines that the Leader had enough to possess Adam and begins making a banishment charm with Alexis. Jace, Aaisha and Spencer try to follow Adam but they lose him along the way. Adam comes into an area where he see the anti gravity power hidden in to the top of some trees. Xavier and Alexis perform the banishment spell but it fails. Spencer, Jace and Aaisha find Adam and they knock him down before he can grab the power.

Act 5:

Adam begins to fight the other three knocking them out. He begins to head for the power once more. Meanwhile Alexis and Xavier arrive back at the site where they found the Bagonas and they destroy the bones of the leader stopping him from possessing Adam who fails to reach the power.

Act 6:

Adam apologizes to the gang and rips up all the spell pages he made.

THE END....

The Coven season 1/ episode 5

#5 Sleepless

starring James Lafferty, Autumn Reeser, Chris Lowell, Kristin Kreuk, Vincent Kartheiser and Ralph Fiennes as Xavier.

Teaser:

opens to Alexis and Jace fighting a Cardinal Demon in a small park when it runs away from them and heads towards public area. They see it going into a restaurant and they follow it into the restaurant. The clerk at the door stops them from entering. Alexis passes her her Credit card and continues through with Jace but they are stopped again and the clerk tells them her card has been Declined. Jace then picks up a steak knife of a nearby table throwing it at the demon but it misses lodging itself into the wall. The demon then continues back towards the two who head back out side and vanquish it.

Act 1:

Alexis tells the group that because she is living in Baker Valley her mother has discontinued her credit card. They then begin to discuss money. Spencer tells them about openings at a nearby bed and breakfast. Alexis gets an idea and herself and Spencer go to apply for jobs.

Act 2:

Alexis and Spencer go to their interview and after some stuff ups Alexis gets a receptionist job whilst Spencer gets a job as manager. They then go outside and meet the other employees. One of which seems to be very hostile towards them named Roland. They then return home and tell the others about their new position. Alexis then goes to bed waking up in the middle of the night after believing she saw a ghost.

Act 3:

after her previous encounter Alexis turns up to work the next day a bit shaken. She and Spencer complete their days work much to the annoyance of Roland. Alexis then Wakes to see a ghost like creature staring back at her. Spencer then rushes in saying that he saw the same thing. The two begin to suspect that somebody at work is playing tricks on them.

Act 4:

Alexis and Spencer search their work and find a summoning pattern etched on the floor and they call in the others to help them. The ghost/demon then come up to them and they fall to the ground weak. Spencer tells Alexis that Roland must have summoned a demon to get them. As they lay on the floor the demon come up to them when Alexis's eyes change to a pink colour. She tells Spencer that Roland didn't do it and she musters up strength to blast the demon away. Alexis then gets up and runs out.

Act 5:

Alexis runs into the others and tells them to help Spencer. She then run into another room where she find a gas main running and Roland uncouncious on the floor she goes to pick him up when she hers a voice behind her which turns out to be Kian, another employee. Kian reveals that she summoned a Genger to get rid of Spencer and Alexis. Kian goes to knock her out but Alexis over powers her pushes her into pile of boxes she pulls Roland out who wakes thanking her for saving him. The police arrive and take kian away. Spencer and the others return after dispelling the Genger.

Act 6:

after returning home Spencer asks Alexis how she knew where to go who replies saying that she had a vision of Roland in trouble. Xavier the tells her that she has developed her power of visions which is a trait of her powers.

THE END....

The Coven Season 1/ Episode 4

#4 Safe As Houses

starring James Lafferty, Autumn Reeser, Chris Lowell, Kristin Kreuk, Vincent Kartheiser and Ralph Fiennes as Xavier.

Teaser:

Aaisha and Spencer are seen running down a dark alleyway. a demon is then seen following the chase behind them. Aaisha pushes some bins over in an attempt to stop it and she and Spencer continue running down the street. The two arrive at a blocked end and try to climb the fence when the demon arrives pulling Spencer down to the ground. Aaisha then jumps on the demon shocking it, but the demon pulls her off and throws her to the ground. Just as the demon is about to deliver the final blow it is hit from behind by a potion burning to dust. The others then help the two up and explain that they were at xaviers and missed the call about the demon.

Act 1:

the whole group arrive back at Xaviers. Aaisha and Spencer tend to their wounds and express their feelings for a single house. Xavier and Alexis the next day go into a real estate agent who shows them some house in their price range. After dismissing some they find the perfect house for a very low price. Alexis asks why the price is so low and the real estate agent replies saying that all the people that have moved in disappeared. Alexis ignores the folk tale and they purchase the place selling Xavier's and Spencer's Apartments.

Act 2:

aaisha and Jace are sent to pack Xaviers apartment and begin to tell each other about their past. Jace reveals that he was a street orphan and moved into Gambling at a young age. Aaisha tells of her life escaping her conservative parents and moving out of home. Back at Spencers place Alexis rings her mother telling her that she will be living in baker Valley and yelling is heard through the phone. Spencer pretend to ignore it and Alexis becomes very embarassed. The group then each take their things to the house and the door shuts itself behind them but they don't notice.

Act 3:
the group Wake up of their first morning in their new house. Aaisha tells the others about hearing a little girl crying but they pass it off saying that she is just dreaming. That night Spencer finds a sink full of blood when he goes into the kitchen and they decide the house is haunted. As they go to prepare a spell Aaisha see a little girl screaming in the hall as the spell begins to kick in the light flicker and the bulbs blow. aaisha notices that the wall begins to turn into a jelly like material and as she goes up to it an arm grabs her pulling her into the wall.

Act 4:

Aaisha wakes in the surprisingly spacious walls where the ground is dirt like and she is surrounding by brick walls but a small path leads away. She begins to bang on the walls and hears The others voices telling her that the spell stopped working when she went into the wall and there is something she has to do to get out. Adam breaks into the spot on the wall where she entered but finds nothing but wall. Aaisha continues along the path to find an area with bodies scattering the ground. She recognises them as the ones of past tenants and turns around to see a decomposing man partially made of bricks and wood. He then knocks her across the room and the screen goes black.

Act 5:

aaisha gets up of the ground just as the man smash the ground where she was laying. He reveals that he was victim of murder in this house and was shoved in the walls by his killer. He then began to pull people in hoping they'd find his body. The man tells that the people couldn't do it and he killed them. Aaisha kicks the man who then swings at her head. She ducks getting him with a shock to the stomach. He is then knocked back and aaisha shock punches him in the face and the man writhes in pain. She picks up a discarded piece of timber and lodges it through the Construction man's heart killing him. She then picks up him body and discover that she can walk out of the place arriving back with a normal body of the man in her arms.

Act 6:

Aaisha and the group bury the man. Alexis asks why they are burying a killer but Aaisha says this is all he ever wanted. The group go back inside of their new house.

The coven season 1/ episode 3

#3 Passion

starring James Lafferty, Autumn Reeser, Chris Lowell, Kristin Kreuk, Vincent Kartheiser and Ralph Fiennes as Xavier.

Xavier has the group sitting in his apartment reading up on demons. Aaisha and Alexis decide that they are going out leaving the boys with all the research.

Act 1:

Adam decides to go out as well so spencer goes home and Xavier asks Jace to come with him and they leave his apartment as well. Aaisha and Alexis are at the club when they see Adam trying to talk to a girl. they don't reveal themselves and they see that adam gets rejected several times. they decided to do something and return back to Spencers house where they are staying.

Act 2:

Xavier and Jace proceed to train and Jace enquires about Xaviers past who refuses to tell him and get angry at his constant inquiry. Aaisha and Alexis perform a love spell which fires a pink cloud into the room making them cough and splutter. they then go to bed . Adam returns home and goes to bed.

Act 3:

the group meet up again at Xaviers house to continue with their research. Adam arrives and then goes into town and comes into contact with a girl named Cindy. cindy proceeds to follow him and they spend the day together going back to her house and they sleep together that night.

Act 4:

Adam returns home the next day and the girls are happy that they found someone for him. Adam heads to turn and each wowan he comes into contact with begins to follow him and cindy returns with a new car for him announcing her love. the other woman then begin to yell at hima dn adam takes cindy and tells them to go home. Adam leaves Cindy at her place and goes to Xavier about the problem who relises it's a love spell. Xavier, Spencer and Jace go to Cindy' but find her dead and a bunch of women standing around her body. they bring all of them back to the house hiding Adam at spencers. Alexis and Aaisha come in and learn that a girl died because of the spell and they tell Xavier. Xavier orders them to reverse it but they turn around to find all the girls gone.

Act 5:

Spencer and Jace head to adams to find him being swarmed by girls all attacking him and each other. they try to pull girls off him who then turn on them getting them by the throats and chocking them. Alexis and Aaisha reverse the spell butit goes awray and Pulls Adam's emotion of love to them and it combusts dissapearing with the rest of the spell. Just as the women are about to axe Adam the spell is reversed and they all walk away in confusion.

Act 6:

the girls tell adam what they did and he forgive but they don't tell him about his love missing. They return home and Xavier Packs up all the books with Spencer.

The Coven

episode #2 Tests

starring James Lafferty, Autumn reeser, Chris Lowell, Kristin Kreuk, Vincent Kartheiser and Ralph Fiennes as Xavier.

teaser:

The group are in Xaviers appartment as he is trying to get them to meditate. Jace is clearly better than the others as he is forming fire balls with whilst Meditating. the others than quit explaining to Xavier that their powers must just be harder to master.

Opening Credits roll

Act 1:

Jace goes into town and enters a local fair. he then meets a young artist who is complaining that he paintings were damaged by one of her competitors in an art show. hoping to impress the girl he secretly uses his powers to burn one of the competitors pieces losing him the artshow. he then proceeds to play with his powers almost testing them in broad daylight.

Act 2:

Xavier continues to train the others and they slowly begin to gain more control over them. Xavier explains that they can also write spells and brew potions for fighting demons. Adam asks if they will ever fight more demons and xavier tells them that the whole world has demons and magic but it is jsut hidden. meanwhile back at the fair Jace is attacked by a devil dog and they dissapear in a flash of black smoke.

Act 3:

jace wakes in an undergrave cave chained up. Cerebus the devil dog then reveals himself explaining that he wants to make a champion fighter by removing Jace's soul. Cerebus then exhales some black smoke which forces it way into jaces mouth turning his pupils black. Cerebus then lets him out so that he will lose his soul via the smoke.

Act 4:

jace arrives back in town and head out to damage property and scare people with his juiced up fire blasts. xavier and the others see him and attempt to stop him. the group stand in a semi circle firing their powers at him but jace creates a wall of flame and after spencer puts it out they discover that Jace is gone he then reappears behind them attacking full on knocking them out.

Act 5:

Cerebus comes back up to Jace and informs him to make to the last thing he needs to before losing his soul. cerebus then led him to a park where a little girl is all alone crying. Cerbus tells Jace to kill her and that he will then become a Warrior. the others arrive and Xavier explains to the others what Cerebus must have done to jace. the other 4 convince jace not to do it and he refuses expelling the black smoke. Cerebus is furious and creates a smokescreen around the group. Cerbus then pounces on Spencer but is sidekicked off him by Aaisha. cerbus retailated swiping Aaisha across the stomach but then Jace pushs cerebus down and lodges his hand in its mouthc making a fireball that burns his head from the inside out killing it.

Act 6:

back at xaviers apartment jace is packing his things to leave but Xavier tells him that power is often a hard thing to control and he tells Jace to stay and master they power he has.

incase you didn't notice the show is about five people with magical powers destined to fight evil (but not as tacky as I made it sound then. Anyway i'll go over and clarify the groups powers incase you forgot or don't know what they are:

Jace: Ablilty to create and project balls of fire.
Aaisha: generates electricity/ lighting which can only be used in direct contact.
Spencer: can shoot water and control nearby water making it projectile
Alexis: can create psychic channels or waver damaging enemies that she chooses.
Adam: has the ablility to control a magical plasma energy blast type substance.

seeing that Kiara reoccurs way later down the track I deicided to cast her now. the actor I chose was Julie Gonzalo who is currently playing Parker on Veronica Mars...

The Coven - Season 1 / episode 1

#1 Starts

starring James Lafferty, Autumn Reeser, Chris Lowell, Kristin Kreuk, Vincent Katheiser and Ralph Fiennes as Xavier

Written and Directed by Spencer Hadlow.

Teaser:

we open to a dank, dark room with the walls lined in jars of various oozes. we see xavier lying on the floor and a figure in shadow talking to him. the figure tells Xavier that the group is gathered and he has to be there to harness their powers. Xavier agrees and appears to be afraid of the shadowed figure.

act 1:

we open to a hospital emergency room where Aaisha is sitting by the bedside of an uncouncious girl named Kiara. A nurse comes in and aaisha explains that they had a car accident outside of town while passing through. Adam is seen being brought in on a stetcher and notices aaisha crying behind the curtains of kiaras room/ curtained area. he tries to convince the nurse that he can go after suffering a mild concussion while skate boarding. he is then put on a bed and continues to watch Aaisha.

act 2:

we open in a wards kitchen waiting room area where Alexis is seen waiting for the kettle to boil. Spencer enters the room with a masive boquet of flowers and introduces himself as a flower delivery boy for the hospital. Alexis says that she is in town to collect papers for one of her mother's clients and that she is just having a cup of coffee and leavingAlexis then dismisses him when Jace walks into the room and attempt to hide behind a coach indicating to the others not to say anything. Two tough looking Men then enters who ask if they have seen a man matching Jace's description. Alexis and Spencer say no and the mne leave. Jace stands up and introduces himself and as he does Spencer notices a gun at the door.

act 3:

the men shot in the room, one bullet hitting the coffee pot and the other flying astray.Alexis hides under the bench asthe two men enter again. One punches Spencer in the nose knocking him to the ground while jace trips the other one over delviering a few hits to the chest. the two men get back up and as one is about to shot spencer Alexis hits him over the head with a vase knocking him out. The other one turns arounbd and just as he is about to shot alexis Xavier enters the room hitting him the back and knocking him uncouncious. Xavier asks them to follow him and they relcutantly agree.

Act 4:

Aaisha and Adam start talking to each other and have a conversation about injuries. Xavier and the others enter and he asks the two to join them and they head out into the garden. Xavier reveals that they are the reemerged group of 5 known as the blessed coven. the are warrior of good magic and are destined to fight evil and the supernatural each with their own unique powers. the group don't believe Xavier and they each walk away believing him to be crazy.

Act 5:

it's luchtime and the 5 meet up in the garden alone eating their lunch. the discuss what Xavier said and Alexis claims that he needs help while Aaisha is curious about why he would make such allegations. as they talk a demon approaches in the background and attacks the group.

after it knocks spencer out of the way the demon attempts to hit Aaisha but Adam hits him with a crutch distracting it. Alexis and Aaisha move out of the way and it head for Jace who yells in surprise as a fireball generates in his hand. he tries to shake it off and it goes flying towards the demon. it then goes after adam who shoot a blast of green energy. it knocks Adam and Jace away and heads toward the girls. Aaisha accidently lets off a shot of electricity and Alexis eyes go pink and knock the demon away. it then attacks again and the girls don't know what to do and spencer shots a water blast at the demon. they are then unsure what happened as the demon circles them Xavier arrives and stab a sword through the demons head and it falls to the ground dead.

Act 6:

Xavier tells the group that Baker Valley is a major magic area and the group decide to follow their new destiny and stay in Baker Valley together. Xavier then leaves and rings somebody who we hear as the shadowed man saying that the demon was a good idea indicating that he sent it at them.

fades to Black...The End

Casting - Xavier

the last character I had to cast was Xavier who would serve as a mentor to the group but also had a dark past theat he keeps secret. the actor that came to my mind first was Ralph Fiennes so I decided to go with him as my choice...

Casting - Adam

the next member of the main cast is Adam who is in town due to an injury. Adam is Tall, Dark and Handsome and Charismatic at the same time. As a big fan of Angel I cast Vincent Kartheiser in the role...

Casting - Alexis

the fourth main of the show and second female is Alexis. Alexis is a professional, highly strung work-a-holic who comes to Baker Valley to get some papers signed for her mother. the actress that came to my head for this character was Kristin Kreuk from Smallville....

Casting - Spencer

the third main for The Coven is Spencer. Spencer is already living in Baker Valley working as a delivery boy for a flower company. Spencer is sweet and dorky so I cast Chris Lowell from Veronica Mars....

casting - Aaisha

The second cast member of the show is Aaisha who arrives in Baker Valley after her car breaks down. Aaisha is firm believer in helping people and is a kind, hippy-like girl.Aaisha is a character with an earty exotic look which was hard to find an actress for. I considered Jessica Alba, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Natalia Baron but in the end I went with Autumn Reeser. Not because I like the oc but because she was the right looking actress...

Casting - Jace

one of the main five on my show is Jace, a tough, rough and jaded 20 year old who comes to the town of baker valley escaping a gambling debt. a really hard actor to cast because i don't won't a badass i wanted a badboy with heart.

the best i could come up with is James Lafferty from One Tree Hill but i'm not completely happy with that choice....

my name is Spencer and i'm 15 from Melbourne, Australia. over the past few years i have written an indepth televison series named The Coven. as I was writing it i branched out and wrote a spin-off named Guardians.
